In an official statement, MG Pakistan alleged that there are certain registered persons or entities who are actively involved in the defamation without naming and that it reserves the right to take legal action against these parties under state law.

MG has been on the sharp end of a knife several times in the past few months. The company was recently accused of deliberately causing delays in delivery to collect illegal rewards from customers. MG’s major shareholder Javed Afridi made a statement on behalf of the company:

Afridi posted a photo on her social media, including a statement that continues to publicly call on those who speak out against MG, stating that her allegations are completely baseless and that they are all “competitor hired keyboard warriors”.
