A piece of bad news for users because The government has increased the prices of petroleum from 1st January 2022.
The Ministry of Finance has issued a notification to increase the prices of petroleum products.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Finance, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs 4 per liter, after which the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 144.82 per liter.

The Finance Ministry has also increased the price of high-speed diesel by Rs 4, bringing the new price of diesel to Rs 141.62 per liter.
According to the announcement, the price of kerosene has been increased by Rs 3.95 per liter and the new price of kerosene has been increased by Rs 113.53 per liter.
According to the Finance Ministry, the price of light diesel oil has been increased by Rs 4.15 per liter, after which the new price has gone up to Rs 111.6 per liter.
